Summer 2009

I have not been so great about blogging lately, though I have been good about taking lots of photos. So lots to catch up on! I'll keep my witty commentary to a minimum and just show you what we've been up to (besides touring the playgrounds of greater boston as you'll see in the prior post).


We got our very own bouncy house (which pretty much takes up the entire playroom):

Not only is it good for bouncing:

But it is an excellent spot to take a nap:

(Maddie was really freaked out by the bouncy house being in her playroom - so no photos of her. We figure next time we'll try it outdoors)


We got haircuts! My little man got a crew cut:

And my pretty girl now has bangs (and can actually see for the first time in a long while):

We've played in our kiddie pool!

We even got caught in a rain storm while playing on the deck in our pool:

And as if all of this wasn't exhausting enough - when we're really trying to tucker them out before bedtime, we resort to an old fashioned game of chase:

WHEW - no wonder the summer is flying by!
