Summer is upon us

In addition to the Fulton's Pond adventure seen in a previous post; the month of June has found us traveling all around the local area enjoying summer activities.

Visiting the playground at Aidan's school (soon to be Maddie's school too):

Feeding ducks at the Capron Park Zoo:

Picking strawberries at Ward's Berry Farm:

We learned that too much of this...

leads to this...

Trying out new beaches (Old Silver Beach in Falmouth):

A reluctant photo subject:

And, of course, attending opening weekend at the Freetown wading pool/sprinkler park:

All this and school hasn't even let out for the year!!!

Reason 999 why it is so great to have a twin...

Leftovers!!!

Fulton's Pond

There is a lovely little spot right in the center of town here in Mansfield called Fulton's pond. Picnicing, fishing and the annual town "duck race" happen here. We've discovered how much fun it is to throw sticks off the bridge and watch them race down the river...

Aidan also discovered the ducks. Here's Kurt desperately trying to hold him back from launching an attack.

As you can guess, Aidan did NOT appreciate this...

But ultimately he triumphed!

(just kidding) And what did our precious Madelaine do while all of this was going on? She must have run up and down this hill literally 50 times...

We certainly know how to keep ourselves busy!
