Today was Aidan & Maddie's Baptism at the Orthodox Congregational Church here in Mansfield. We were off to a bit of a rocky start when the furnace broke down and we had no hot water. But we figured they'd be getting a bath at the Baptism anyhow!
The service was very enjoyable and the babies really liked being the center of attention, especially when they got to parade around the church and show off their fabulous outfits. Almost the entire family was able to come back to the house afterwards and celebrate and all seemed to have a good time. Kurt & I were extremely impressed with how well behaved Maddie & Aidan were. Aidan was entranced by the choir and the bell ringers...looks like we have a future musician on our hands. And Maddie took a bit of a snooze during the sermon. But she was up in plenty of time for photo opportunities.
